Ok here goes...when I spoke on the phone with the Goldstone Place Apartment manager "Alesha" (or the fat blonde lady who claimed to be the manager) she told me they had a second floor unit available and it was ready for me to view and rent at $599/mo. I told her great I was on my way and then when I arrived 20 minutes later she told me that the second floor unit was no longer available and that all she had left was the exact same first floor unit for $629/mo. (What a coincidence) She then proceeded to talk loud and fill the atmosphere with obnoxious rambling while going on and on about nothing at all it was quite annoying and this is just our first meeting. She appeared to be on some sort of stimulant drug and I was a little shocked when she told me, "She worked at the complex for 5 years," and condescendingly told me "She had been working real hard to clean out the rif-raf tenants." and that was compounded when she told me that, "When I sign a lease at the end of it if I don't renew my lease it jumps from $599/mo. to $779/mo. on the month to month basis and if I do choose to renew my lease well my rent will still raise anyways and someone else decides how much my rent increases and furthermore I won't even know how much it will increase until 30 days before my expires"...HAHAHAHAHHA She then forcefully told me if I have someone stay with me at my apartment for more than 14 days and I don't inform the office they have the right to evict me even if it's my own father. I was again shocked when I saw the pool and the rest of the property not appearing as it does in the photos it seems clear to me that those pictures were taken years ago. Nothing is as nice, clean or wonderful as in the photos and to say that Alesha was professional would be a lie, to say that she was caring would be untruthful and as a business owner myself with more than 15 years management and customer service I would never hire anyone like Alesha to work for me and I would never stay in or encourage anyone I know, love or care for to stay in a property that she is involved with. Get the picture?

The office staff is amazing, maintenance is quick and efficient, apartment size is wonderful. But if you are a non smoker, be aware that your apartment will be smoke filled. Both my roommate and I are asthmatic and this was horrible. The staff did everything (we moved apartments, they filled pipe holes, and more) but since they allow in apartment smoking, we couldn't stay..
