Not professional! I am not a satisfied customer to say the least. This is a prepaid dentist that has you pay for the service before you get it done which I can appreciate and I am sure it cut's down on their collection costs. I went in for a root canal and was charged $387.47 which I completely agreed with after my insurance covered what it could but a month after paying what I was told would be the amount due for the operation I received a bill outlining extras that they had thought would be covered. When I called them back the number had been disconnected and I was unable to get ahold of them for two weeks until I actually drove back into the office. It was at this time that they told me their number had changed and they had not updated it with yellow pages or left a recording with the old number to provide their customers with their new number. Not only this but the charges would not be discounted or waived even though I was told originally that the initial payment was all I would need to make. Not impressed by their professionalism, not impressed by the operation, and not impressed by their way of billing. I could have had the same operation done a block away for less but since their original quote to me was less I went there. I paid what they claimed I owed them since I had no other choice and am never returning there again. Needless to say I am not a satisfied customer.

They said that because I have a dental insurance that almost every dentist accepts, it would cost the same at Hillside as any other dentist in the area. But I checked around and they charge more for the same thing. I think that because they are part of a whole network of dental offices in Utah, they must have a special agreement with insurance companies that allows them to charge more. Why pay more here when I can get the same thing elsewhere for less money?

I too have had nothing but trouble with their billing! They do NOT like to give detailed receipts, which my insurance wants. Good dentistry work... just not worth the billing hassle.

i would recommend finding a different place. their records are not well maintained and billing is a scam!
