I’ve had one checkup and she did X-rays and showed me what my teeth looked like using an oral camera. She pointed out the cavities she saw so I could see them too and she explained how my teeth were wearing and why. She explained how to halt my enamel and gum erosion, and even went over lifestyle factors that may have been contributing to the decline of my oral health.
After our discussions I feel much more prepared to be able to work on my home care regimen and I feel confident that she and her team are capable of doing all the work that I can’t. I just make my appointments on schedule and dental health becomes an easy routine, rather than a waiting game to see how big my cavities can get before the doctor fills them. I’m so glad to not have to deal with “the waiting game” anymore.
