It was terrible i stay in room 205 in the summer of 2018 got eaten up by bedbugs she claimed I brought them in which wasn’t true I paid in advance a week so she told me her and her son would heat my room I would have to stay someplace else for 4 to 5 days. So I left came back after 5 days she would not give me credit for the 5 days I was gone because she said I was getting a good deal on the price of the room. Now I asked how can it be a good deal if I am not there for the week. Anyway no refund or credit went to my room that night got attacked by bedbugs again I had lumps on my arms and a bad rash for a couple of months it was that bad the next day I packed up and left and the lady had the nerve to tell me they went out of there way to accommodate me. Well there you have it paid for a week stay one night actually stay there 8days total and paid for 14 days no refund and terrible bedbugs. That was my experience!

I truley believe all the Horrors posted prior. I wish i saw these before we paid. I went threw expedia and just needed a place for 1night. If i would have known then what i know NOW. I wouldof just ruffed in our truck.It cost Me over 80$. The lady is Rude and Nasty. Complaining that we reserved 1 hour prior and not 24hrs prior. BAD attitude. Omg it SMELT so STANKY. It looks like a great place for junkies and crackheads. I feel so Goss, Nasty and Ichey just sitting on the Bed. Anyone in their right Minds would/should RUN!!!!! Believe me, Pay the extra money and stay ANYWHERE else. After less than an hour i Regreat spending even 1dollar to stay at this Trashy Dump. Bedbugggs and sinus problems from the Nasty Gross smell lingering. Absoulty Hands Down DISCUSTING to say the least. Please dont make the MISTAKE i did because it seemed like a Deal. Intead its a NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!! Just YUCKkkkk!!!!!!

We stayed at the Clearwater Inn several times this year and in the past. The people next to us, were so friendly too. We had easy access to all the stores and mc donalds. Our room was clean and we felt safe with the office security cameras all over the hotel. They see everything and don't allow those bad people selling and dealing. The housekeepers were nice and helpful. My daughter loved the peacocks, they are so beautiful. Our room was a collection of warmth, and very clean, with old style comfort, not high priced over rated rooms. We will go back, again and again. We will tell all our friends about our stay, and the warmth of the Inn. Thanks Clearwater Inn, your great! You really gave us a great vacation, and a great price for our room.



The kids loved the pool too, and the candy rack! It is nice to see a "down to earth" good priced place to stay. You earned 4 * * * * stars from us.

Susan was extremely unpleasant....smooshed roaches into carpet that she jus told us she shampood, and expected us to still want to rent. The second room she showed me stunk beyond belief of mold....I thought I caught spores on the spot...roaches crawling on beds kitchen ice bucket floors and walls...no night stand, alarm clock, and phone were both on floor...kitchenette? What kitchenette no dishes silver wear cups And stove was taken apart for cleaning but was never cleaned...just a horrible place don't come here!

This place deserves no stars what so ever in fact it needs to be shut down!!!!! We just moved to Florida and needed a place to stay to be able to cook for my children and get on our feet. So we made the horrible mistake to stay here. The first thing that was said to us from the owner, Elaine, no matter if we pay for a week she will kick us out with just a suspision of causing trouble with no refund. Next, she says you get housekeeping services once a week to change out linen and make beds. We have been here for 1 1/2 weeks and today was housekeeping day. I told the housekeeper that I would make the beds just trade out linen, and a roll of toliet paper. The housekeeper, poor thing, told us to go get towels and toliet paper from office because she did not have any on her cart. My 13 year old went up there and Elaine follows her back sceaming going crazy, and I mean certifiable!!!!! First, she screamed at us for offering to change the sheets for the overworked and underpaid housekeeper, who is very sweet. Next, Elaine came into our room grabbed the clean sheets the maid gave us and took them outside and threw them on the ground at the poor housekeeper. She started screaming at her and us at the same time saying, I pay you to go in and change the beds, scrub the tub, sweep and mop kitchen, and vacuum and you guys Have to let her in, no making own beds!!!! For one thing I clean my room all day everyday, and another, I worked in housekeeping my whole life, in a stay over room the guests have the right to refuse service or change their own SHEETS!!!! I feel so bad for the housekeeper. She is being mentally abused and taken advantage of, just because she has a visa only and still going through the process for her green card yet so she would have a hard time getting a real job right now. The housekeeper told us pay no more money here go down the street to Gulf to Bay Motel, it is cheaper, nicer, they have same kind of rooms, and is ran by a real business people. I am calling the Better Business Burreu asap. Elaine needs to be admitted into a Mental Institution and throw away the key!!!! She scared my children to tears!!!!

On top of the improper treatment of employees and guests, the rooms stink, the beds have springs sticking out, the toliet does not flush properly, there is no smoking allowed in rooms but every one has cigarette burns on them (which is something crazy Elaine could use to kick us out and keep or money, trying to accuse people of not following the rules. I say this becuase I have seen it happen, she kicked someone out because their magnetic key smelled like smoke?!?!, they did not even smoke!!!!) the pool is nasty, almost all of the stoves do not work properly, the ones that do smell you out of the room!!!!!! I can survive with these things, but not with the bed bugs, they are horrible. All of us are covered with the bites!!!!!! I can go on and on about this terrible place, but I will offer advice for to anyone in a similar situation or even just on vacation: DO NOT STAY AT THE CLEARWATER INN!!!! YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF IN A HOMELESS SHELTER!!!!!
