Provided by YP.comLast week the compressor on my mother's air conditioning system failed and within minutes hot air was blowing though the AC vents topping the inside of her home to 89 degrees. It was 5:30 PM and the outside temperature felt like 94 degrees.
My mother called National Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. and left a message for the on-call person. About 15 minutes later, "Errol" called and said he was on his way from Dunedin. Within 45 minutes Errol and Corey arrived and told us the bad news. We needed a new system and they were a few days out to be able to install a new system/
I explained the physical and emotional problems my 95 year old mother is having and they spoke with someone who gave the go to repair her AC unit the next day.
Errol and Corey worked non-stop for at least 7-1/2 hours. They were professional and spent time explaining the AC unit problems to my mother who kept asking them many questions. Both of these men were very patient.
Thank you National Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. for having such a nice and professional team such as Corey and Errol.

Provided by YP.comThe Best service I could ask for Bill and Joann came out on new years day and replaced a fan motor for us. The Motor quit working late New Years Eve they came out the next morning and replaced it we without for just a few hour I don't know where they would have even got one on the holiday. Thank you Bill, JoAnn and National.

Provided by YP.comCan't say enough good things about them. My system quit working. I contacted National to come out to repair it.
Tom came out and checked out the system and found a bad fan motor in my furnace. He explained that the new motor would cost 675.00 but since the unit was 18 years old, inefficient and in pretty rough condition that this might not be a wise investment. I was given the option to repair or replace the system and Tom did not pressure me in either direction. My finances would not allow me to replace the system at this time so Tom had them order me a new fan motor and had it up and running the next morning. Bill the tech who came out and installed the fan motor as well as cleaned the furnace up at no extra charge. Bill said he we will schedule someone to come back in six months for a free check-up to try and keep the system running as long as possible. I am going to budget myself to have the system replaced. I would like to thank my neighbors for referring National to me and thank National for taking care of an old man on a limited budget. Thank You!!!

Provided by YP.comTHANK YOU NATIONAL!!!!! My AC went out about 10 PM Sunday night, I called National at 8:00 AM Monday morning and in less than 2 hours the service truck arrived. The service man turned on the unit from the wall and then went outside to diagnose the problem; before I had a chance to get outside he was walking back to my front door. Problem solved, there was a lizard wedged between the fan and the shroud. Thank you National for the prompt and great service, my AC unit being very old I figured I was going to be buying a new one; thanks again for your promt, honest and great service!!

Provided by YP.comNew ac installed 3 months ago. Supposed to be 2.5 tons. Is not! Is 2 tons and does not work above 90. Not too good in Tampa. Waiting for a call back to explain why. ?

Provided by YP.comI had a new AC installed. I have been trying to get things resolved for about 2 months now. A different tech comes each time and says different things are wrong. They show up at my house unannounced and call to ask why I'm not there even though no appointment was made. My AC is still very loud and things are not resolved after 2 months.

Provided by YP.comHad them replace my AC system last year, it still isn't right. I have spoke with the owner, admits he knows nothing about AC, just owns the business. Have had them out multi times to fix problem yet it still exist, and they refuse to fix problem. Each time they come out it is different techs and none seem to be able to fix the problem. Problem: Air handler continues to drip inside on floor, not going out the drain, which is clear of clogs. Float switch does not shut off, so pan is not full of water, yet the floor is always wet from the dripping air handler. I refuse to allow these people into my home anymore, suggest you do the same.

A company we can trust. we were being told by other companies that we needed to replace this and replace that never fixing our problem nickel and dime every time that they would come out . Costa Explained the benefits of replacing the system and the cost effectiveness of the higher seer rating. It has only been a couple months but we can already see the electrical savings and we have never been more comfortable. Thank you Costa & National Heating & Air Conditioning.

Provided by YP.comLove This Company!!! Todd Inspected my 24 year old system that was not working very well. He Informed me that he could repair the unit but didn't recommend it. but still left the decision up to me without pressuring me one way or the other. I opted to replace with a new more efficient Nutone system. The next day Joe and Justin showed up at 9 A.M. and spent the day working diligently to complete their task taking time along the way to explain what they were doing. When they were done Joe explained the system and the functions on the thermostat while Joe took great care to make sure every thing was picked up, and working properly. Before they left my house was wonderfully comfortable. What a great company I am a customer for life. Thank you guys.

I am particularly pleased with National Heating & Air Conditioning, they improved my HVAC system by adding a filtration system & Air Purifier which they implemented in my existing air handler. Joe & Justin are always cordial, polite and very knowledgeable. They took the time to explain technical considerations with clarity to me so I completely understood each product and how it functioned. Thank you guys for you professionalism.

Provided by YP.comEXTREMELY HAPPY CUSTOMER!!! I had a new heat pump system installed. I have nothing but the greatest satisfaction of having this new system in my home.' I have been doing business with national for quite a few years now. As far as I'm concerned, as long as National is in business I'll be in service. I wouldn't even think of calling anyone else. National is a team effort, and still like a family. I can't say enough about the staff, starting with stefanie who answers the phone to mark and on the down the line. My hats is off to everyone there. I will give this company a modest 5 stars.

But the best part are the visits, when TODD comes by. He is fun, terrific and has convinced me that he knows what he is doing. Anyway, give TODD a raise, an extra week's vacation, a bonus. Provided by YP.comMy 12 year old air conditioning quit working. I called National, Todd came out within an hour and diagnosed the problem I was sure he was going to tell me I needed a new one. I was so suprised when he said that they could fix mine. Less than an hour later Mike and Josh showed up with the part I needed and had the air working in no time. I would have paid anything it was so hot, but it was less than $200.00. I can't begin to thank them for their quick response and effceint service. As far as I am concerned their is only one air conditioning company. That is National Heating and Air.
