I booked a two night stay here 1 month in advance because I wanted to spend a few days in Clearwater. Being from Orlando, I had visited every other beach but this one. I stayed at the Towneplace Suites by Marriott Clearwater/St Petersburg and it had all the amenities I was looking for; a full kitchen (fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher), fitness room, complimentary breakfast, etc. The room was very clean and cozy with a walk in closet. From the lobby area to the hallways it was well-kept and smelled very fresh. I probably won't stay here again, however because it's too far from the beach, but they don't advertise being within walking distance to the beach either. I simply chose this hotel because of the best rate in town at $69.99 per night and it had all the amenities I needed- plus it's close to 275 N/S. If you will be traveling to the Clearwater/St Petersburg area for business, this would be a nice selection to choose. You'll definitely feel at home.
