It's a great place to live if you and your family are able to manage your healthcare needs for yourself. The main staff are excellent and caring. The only fallback is their Director of Nursing. Nice to your face, not so nice when your family leaves. I honestly believe that it has to do with the patient to staff ratio. For example, most states have implemented a 5-1 ratio while in KS it's 25-1. This Director has 31 patients to care for, plus listening to staffing needs and concerns, as well as performing their regular duties.

I have never seen a more caring staff! They are very dedicated to each and every resident
