Fantastic cuisine! I have never tasted anything like this, I often go to fast food Chinese but this one is really authentic and tasty.

Last night I went to get take out at NY Chinese Restaurant on

Citrus Tower Blvd, in Clermont. Years ago it used to be good, but I haven't been there in many years. I placed my order and while I was waiting I went next door for a bottle of wine. When I got back I took a seat and waited for the food. It was at that point I got a good look at the place...UGH. The floor in the Front of house was FILTHY. You could tell by the 1 foot margin by the counter, where people could not walk very much. I would think they would have to re tile the whole place as I don't know if the floor will clean up it is so bad. The front door was so smeared, it looked like someone took a cold wet rag to wipe it, and smear the grease around....not to mention the rolled up dirty apron in the magazine rack right next to the front door. If that is what the front of the house looks like, what about the back of the house???!!! At that point, I should have cancelled my order, got my money back and left.... The shrimp egg rolls were very tiny compared to other places in town. The Lo Mein was tasteless...however, the reason I stayed was they have a dish called "What is it", it is a chicken dish with a peanut sauce. This used to be awesome years ago, that is why I stayed. Well, all I can say about it is "What Is It"?. Tasteless as well. I think the Heath Department has missed this place for years... I didn't die from the food, however, the thought went through my mind many times. It is really hard to mess up take out Chinese food...that is why there are so many take out places....However, I give this place 4 forks DOWN, and will not return.
