The Uhaul by the boat shop is run by lying piece of crap who doesn't have a big enough pair to honor his word. If you need to rent a truck don't go there.He told me if I used the dolly in the truck it would be $7 flat. I repeatedly asked if it was $7 per day, he repeatedly said it would be $7 flat. I return the truck after 4 days and get charged $28 for the dolly. I tell the lady what the clerk, who she said is her husband said and she calls him over the phone. He said he never said that and I must have misunderstood him. So they won't return the money. Initially I wasn't going to use the dolly because I knew it would be a daily charge and I expected to have the truck several days longer than I did. When the clerk repeatedly said it would be a flat charge of $7 I figured I might as well use it for only $7. The way this was handled it's obvious this is a con they run to get extra money out of people who initially reject dolly rental. He says one thing when you get the truck but changes his story to make it sound like you misunderstood him when you bring the truck back so they can screw you out of the money. This isn't about $21. Honestly $21 doesn't mean crap to me. It's about principal. A liar who goes around screwing people out of money needs to be exposed.Thankfully Uhaul corporate took care of the situation within 30 minutes of me complaining via their FB page. I recommend Uhaul. I warn you to stay away from the crooks at this location.
