I disagree with conusgypsy. I found Glinda’s to be better than most of those chain eatery’s . The service was great the food tasty and fresh . I ordered the chopped stake with a side of green beans and collards. All very tasty and good size portions. Other members of my family ordered fish , stakes and my Grand Son ordered the fried shraimp . No one complained about the food or anything else .To put it mildly it was well worth making a stop at Glinda’s and will be doing so again.

This is an AWESOME place to eat if you're looking for real country cooking. The grilled or fried chicken fingers are the best I've had and the salad bar is terrific!! The building is nothing fancy but the food and service more than makes up for it. "Glenda" actually makes the cakes they serve and the red velvet is to-die-for!!!!

So bad we didn't even sit down. Salad bar was just iceberg lettuce - totally useless. The entire clientele were morbidly obese and based on what they were serving - greasy nasty food, it's no wonder.

good home cookin

sure, its a little chilly in the dining room in the mornings, but glendas homemade biscuits are worth it to me. and at dinner time in cleveland, glendas is the place to be. they've got some pretty waitresses that do their best to go the extra mile to make every customer feel at home. my favorites are the chicken tenders and hamburger steak. both with a baked potato and some pinto beans. yum yum! its a good place to take the family.

Glenda's Resteraunt

Food is basic, mainly fried though some grilled is available and there is a large salad bar usually w/ham and cheese and egges as well as veggies and pasta salad. Sandwiches. Veggies good but limited. Deserts vary mainly homestyle cakes and fried apple pies. The main attraction is location just barely S of downtown Cleveland on Hwy 129 aka S.Main. A local gathering place with many regulars. That means it is very crowded at 5-6 and at 12-1 and Friday and Sat eves and because of hard surfaces very noisy. A family place with lots of older customers but terrible handicapped parkinhg (one space only). BRING A SWEATER YR ROUND probably the clodest AC and most active fans in GA.

Best cheese sticks in area. Good pinto beans if cooked long enough...homecooked mnot canned almost always.

Open early breakfast to 9 PM.
