Never even returned my call. Try American Iron & Metal instead. They went out of their way to bring cash to me when their tow driver was late for our pre-arranged appointment; received $343 for a 1996 Honda that had been stripped by thieves. They pay by the pound; highly recommend.

Contacted several Cleveland, OH area auto scrappers or cash for car buyers to remove my 1998 Caravan. I was able to get $335 cash for the car, which included towing from my office in Euclid, OH. If looking to "junk a car" or "scrap a car for cash" Cleveland Scrap was responsive, professional and fast.

I sent an email through http://www.clevelandscrapcars.com for scrap pricing on my 1999 Volvo S70. It needed a new motor and repair estimates were from $3000 and $3400, unless risking a used motor installation for around $2,600. The remanufactured options were just under $3500 but had multi-year warranties. Since the car is 14 years old , I called some Cleveland junk car buyers. Cleveland Scrap offered me $245 to scrap this junk car. Actually, I had another scrap car buyer offer me $310 on Saturday but they still hadn't shown up to tow it by Monday so used Cleveland Scrap Cars who arrived with cash for the car in under two hours.

If you must scrap a car, be sure to get 2 to 3 offers. I have 2 boys who were experts in wrecking their vehicles. Recently called Cleveland Scrap Cars and they were quick and easy to deal with. They paid cash and included the towing in the price.

Car broke down on I-271 and apparently my transmission was damaged. Called several junk car buyers and Cleveland Scrap Cars was the most responsive, so I used them. They paid cash for the car and included the tow. Hopefully i won't need to scrap a car again anytime soon!

Very simple process of getting quote over the phone. In order to scrap a car you must have the title (which I had to find) and a tow driver arrived with the cash to take my junk car to be recycled. Overall, experience was average to good.
