Cuyahoga Plastics was founded in 1960 just outside of Cleveland, Ohio. The firm is a midsized North American manufacturer and processor of thermoset compounds. Cuyahoga Plastics is a privately held company and has been exclusively involved in the thermoset molding industry for the company's entire history. This involvement has included the molding of various types of thermoset materials on a contract basis and the formulation and production of various thermoset molding materials. Cuyahoga Plastics currently operates two manufacturing facilities and a separate distribution facility in Northeast Ohio totaling just under 70,000 square feet. These facilities are used solely for the production and processing of thermoset molding materials. Cuyahoga Plastics processing business includes transfer, compression, and injection molding of all moldable thermosets (BMC's, Phenolics, Epoxies, Silicones, Melamine, Urea, DAP, etc).
