This credit union is the epitome of unprofessional. Dawn, the loan officer was condescending, rude, and nasty. Ciera the assistant is rude, classless, & clueless, and the CEO is too busy to deal with serious customer issues like my credit report. I took out a loan with this credit union 10 months ago and my payments have never been paid late. I discovered that Faith Community Credit Union reported that I paid late 9 consecutive months with TransUnion and one month late to Equifax, but no one there could explain why or how this happened after I received a notice in the mail from them to state that they would be reporting my payment late if a payment wasn't made in 9 days. Although my loan payment had been made prior to my receiving the notice from them. When I called to check the status I was told that they had not reported the payment as late and they were unsure of how to correct the issue. They blew me off for a week after I called at least 8 times being mortified by this inaccurate and erroneous reporting from them. They have treated me as if I am the problem and the burden of proof was on me. 2.5 weeks later, after I disputed this information with the credit reporting agencies, I was told two days ago by TransUnion that Faith never responded to my dispute; consequently, after calling and calling Faith, again they have blown me off and the CEO, Jackie is too busy to return my calls. I'm wondering how any of them who I've dealt with would be responding if they were in my shoes with 9 late payment reporting on a loan that has never been late. I am writing this review to warn consumers... if you want great customer service, good credit, and to be treated with respect, please beware of Faith Community Credit Union. Maybe they just assume that African Americans don't care about their credit health and/or don't mind being treated with no respect or regard. I am mortified by this experience and this financial institution overall. Please think carefully before joining.
