Welcome to the Gust Gallucci Company, a fine purveyor of Italian and imported gourmet foods, serving the greater Cleveland, Ohio area for over eighty-five years. Gust Gallucci, an Italian immigrant from Faeto, Italy, founded our company. When he came to Cleveland in the early 1900’s he discovered a large Italian population who longed for products from their homeland. Gust decided he would discover a way to supply his fellow Italians with their favorite foods. He began selling his products from a large wooden cart. In 1912, he established his first store on the west side of Cleveland. Soon people began patronizing his establishment not only for the quality foods, but also because of Gust’s amicable personality and overwhelming generosity. The Gust Gallucci Company grew throughout the years and became a gathering place for Italian Americans and lovers of fine foods. Always sell the best product at the best possible price and provide good service with a smile and a thank you. Ray’s son Ray Jr. formally joined the business in 1978 and continues to operate the company today. In addition to the retail store, the Gust Gallucci Company operates a wholesale distribution business, supplying the area’s finest restaurants. Gust Gallucci Company invites you to shop where the chefs shop. We have one of the largest selections of Italian foods, wines, and other ethnic specialty items. Mary Ann Esposito, best selling author and host of public television’s popular cooking show, Ciao Italia, says “Gallucci’s is one of the finest Italian food stores in the country.” If your travels ever bring you to the Cleveland area we invite you to visit our retail store located at 6610 Euclid Avenue in the heart of Cleveland’s Midtown Corridor.

Great Italian Store!

I live quite far from the store but I visit it just for their excellent varieties of olive oil and pastas. Their Italian sausage is made to order and always freshly made and Mama makes her own spaghetti sauce. I always come out happy that I shopped there.

I really like Gallucci's. We've been going there for years. This dates back to when they were located at the current Progressive Field location. The selection of wine, olive oil, vinegar and italian meats & cheeses is worth the trip. While I like the convenience of going to Costco, nothing beats the freshness that a local company like Gallucci's brings to the area.

Be very careful when you buy prosciutto here. I was told by the deli manager that Ray does not allow them to trim the excess fat off so your product maybe just fat. Inspect the product to make sure it of the quality you expect. Many times I have taken the product home. only to find it is too fatty to serve or the meat is not layered on tissue properly and you can't separate the slices.

The bakery is generally very good, but make sure you have the time to wait for service. They people in the bakery move at their speed and have no sense of urgency. The Gallucci brand olive oil is the best for the price. I highly recommend it for dipping.Especially at the price. The peperoncini is mediocre at best. It generally too soft without any crunch. I have found that Bell View is a superior product to what Gallucci carries.

In general other than the olive oil Gallucci's is no longer worth the drive. All of products can be found closer to home at about the same pric.e

Rich in Cleveland History...Great Food & Wine Selection!

My grandparents have been taking me to Gallucci's since I was a toddler. I remember going to the location where Progressive Field now sits. They are now located on the new Euclid corridor close to E. 55th St. or use the bat cave entrance off of Carnegie. They have such a great selection of Italian food. Whether you need ingredients for grandma's Italian recipes or want to take it easy and let them do the cooking for you. Gallucci's is the right choice for finding all that you need. Also, there extensive wine collection will complement and add to any dinner or event you are putting together
