Help Foundation is a nonprofit social service agency, serving people with mental and developmental disabilities. It offers services, such as residential care, habilitation and special education. It provides a variety of housing options, including group homes and subsidized apartment projects. Its continuing education program provides individual special education services to children. Its Summit County program serves individuals in a variety of apartment settings and assists in learning daily living skills to become more independent. Its other programs include Woodland Home, Benner Home, Nottingham Home, Parkgate Home, Hillside Home, Cuyahoga County Supported Living and Lake County Supported Living. Its accounting department provides several services to clients, such as payeeship, assisting with the Medicaid application process and redetermination and Department of Housing and Urban Development certification and recertification. Established in 1965, Help Foundation is located in Cleveland.
