Founded in 1988, Metro Catholic School is an elementary school that serves more than 600 students in prekindergarten through eighth grade. It is a coeducational school that is a member of the National Catholic Educational Association and other religious school associations. Metro Catholic School offers a variety of sports activities, including baseball, softball, volleyball, basketball, and track and field. The school offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as a yearbook, student council, band, and Powers of the Pen, Classrooms of Champions and Hoops for Heart programs. Metro Catholic School's clubs include robotics, science and garden clubs. The school also provides resource rooms and special education teachers for students with special cognitive learning needs.
