Midwest Medical Transport Company was founded in 1987 in Columbus, Nebraska. The company’s primary focus was inter-facility ambulance transportation. MMTC started expanding in Nebraska in 2000 and is now in 14 locations across the state. In 2010, a medical helicopter was added and Midwest MedAir was created. In February 2015, Midwest Medical Transport Company was sold to private equity partners and Jeff Shullaw was appointed CEO. Jeff Shullaw began working for the company in 2000 and has held multiple titles throughout his tenure. Jeff’s vision for the company when he took over was growth and culture. As such, the company has grown from a small Nebraska based company to a multi-state operation with 30+ ground ambulance stations located in 8 states, 100+ ambulances, 40+ wheelchair vans, and 3 medical helicopters. Jeff’s commitment to growth has not wavered and looks to continue the growth through M&A as well as organic growth into the future. Midwest Medical Transport Company is proud of their home-built communications center that is central to dispatch and allows us to leverage real-time data to create efficiencies, recognize gaps, and study trends to prepare us for what comes next! The leadership team at Midwest Medical Transport Company is committed to excellence in everything they do. This team collaborates on initiatives to bring the best products and services to our clients.
