They rip everybody off and they live in Parma in their office is out of Cleveland

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I gave them a check for nearly $9000 last July and all I've gotten is shingles delivered to my house. They disconnect phone numbers constantly so they're impossible to get in touch with. If you do get a working number, they don't answer, you leave a message and never hear back. They've lied to my neighbors about pulling permits for work so my neighbors who've gotten work done have no proof of a new roof if they sell their house. We had a storm that did damage to roofs in or neighborhood and they did good work on a few homes in my neighborhood so a number of other people hired them and have now gotten ripped off. Several people have filed complaints with the state attorney and I am in the process of hiring a lawyer. My insurance company is also planning on filing insurance fraud against them since they took a check from them that was made out to Montenegro and us. Stay away.

Montenegro replaced our roof in 2007. While originally we felt that they did a great job and had finished roofing, after they had gone home on the second night of work we had an incredible downpour and water rained through our walls, into our light sockets and eventually into the basement. Apparently they either did not tarp off the roof or did not complete it as it was supposed to be done. They did clean up and eventually the roof became water tight. We have however, for OVER a year, been after Montenegro to shingle a weathervane covering box on our roof. It had to be removed to shingle and was put back up with the old shingles standing out as they are a different color.



We have made at least 4 phone calls to Montenegro and they continue to promise us that they will return to shingle the weathervane roof box but after a year or more it remains not done. Perhaps money should have been held back until the entire project was completed. The roof looks great until one looks to the weathervane and then one would see black shingles while the rest of the roof is finished in reddish brown cedar shake-like shingles.



We wonder if there were to be a problem with the roof how our warranty would fare? Our phone calls are no longer able to get through as their phone line is connected to a fax machine. Other than visiting them in person, there seems to be no way of communication with this company. While their promises to complete this have been made many times, and we have waited at home for them to show up, no one does. I would be interested to know if other people have experienced similar difficulties.
