Provided by YP.comI recommend every young professional searching for an upscale apartment in the heart of the vibrant Tremont neighborhood to visit Tremont Place Lofts. I know it is difficult to actually get an apartment here (last I heard the waiting list for a 2 bedroom was upwards of 2 dozen folks) but I would hate for you to miss out on the opportunity to marvel at how poorly a management company can operate an apartment and how rapidly a business can be run into the ground. It will be one for the record books as tenants frustrations, new competition in the neighborhood, and the architects and designers short-sighted styling culminate in its inevitable demise... now for the real point of this post.
Dear management of Tremont Place Lofts: have you heard the complaints from your residents? I will post them here for your convenience:
Take pride in the managing the building:
--Buy a broom, mower, and weed wacker and take care of the grounds... we pay too much to have it look this unkempt
--Hire someone to pick up the trash, broken glass, and cardboard boxes... despite your big brother threats, public places get dirty and we are paying you to keep the facility clean
--The workout center is a lawsuit waiting to happen. I often wonder if it has ever been cleaned. TPL management, next time you are in the working facility be sure to look at the pile of dust, mold, sweat and hair under the elliptical machine and be sure to wash your hands as you leave... I d hate for you to get meningitis; Oh, and quit sucking and buy more cups for the water cooler
--Rather than posting threatening letters about where not to put cardboard boxes and other inevitable trash associated with 100 apartment tenants, solve the problem and tell us where you would like to see the trash disposed of instead...
Hire employees with at least half a brain
--You are running an upscale apartment... treat the tenants as such: Your office workers should greet people entering the office with a smile and hello, how can I help you, instead of ignoring us and staring at their computer
Quit screwing up the simple things:
--Stop incorrectly charging tenants credit cards for rent on accident (or double charging)... that pisses us off
--Quit posting notes on tenants doors stating Big Brother Is Watching if our dogs accidently go to the bathroom in the courtyard; It is unnerving and unprofessional
Quit extorting your current tenants
--Stop screwing us over by unexpectedly increasing fees in the middle of our lease ( $1,000 in credit card processing and parking fees) it adds up and was not what I agreed upon when I signed my lease.
Instead of just advertising security when selling the apartments... actually secure the apartments:
--If you do intend to charge for parking then maybe you can spare some expense to make sure the parking lot gates actually work, the security guards wear uniforms so their presence is felt, and the supposed security cameras actually record something... it sucks to see multiple cars broken into each year
I know this is tough to change, but quit being cheap:
--I wonder if you could have chosen lower quality finishes for the interiors of the apartment. Paint that rubs off the walls, sub-Wal-Mart-grade cabinets, and collapsing subfloor to name a few issues; Also, I’m glad it only took you 4 months to fix the faint smell of natural gas that was lingering in the 4th floor hall a while back
Thanks,
A former tenant
