Ms. Marisa Burns received her Masters of Science in Nursing - Adult Nurse Practitioner with a focus in Cardiovascular Disease Prevention and Management from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN and her Associates of Science degree in Nursing at Cleveland State Community College in Cleveland, TN. Marisa is working under the supervision of Dr. Robert Martyn, Interventional Cardiologist. Marisa is originally from Dallas, TX and moved to Cleveland, TN in 2001. She has served at Tennova Cleveland since 2006 starting her career as a nurse on the cardiac floor. Marisa Burns is a Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology, Heart Failure Society of America, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, The American Nurses Association, and the Tennessee Nurses Association.
