Being a struggling college student and full time worker just to get by, living on my own, my time is valuable and my schedule not very flexible. Pearle was the only place in Cleveland that my insurance would cover, and I upfront told the receptionist that I was only interested in contacts. She told me that I would be given a free sample before having to purchase them, which was great considering that I did not have the funds to pay extra due to them rescheduling me--the day before my initial appointment, I received a call telling me that the doctor that day didn't take my insurance. So in addition to having to bend over backwards just to get my eyes checked, I was also lied to. I was told that I would have to pay for that contacts sample and the lady was exceptionally rude to me when I asked if I could just buy contacts from a pharmacy with the glasses prescription. Because of aesthetic reasons, I have no interest in glasses and will not wear them. Contacts are my only option, and I need to obtain better vision for getting a driver's license. I will not be going back. I walked out of there with nothing to help my eyesight, but at least with the prescription I can order contacts from overseas--which, illegal or not, is what I did. I do not recommend these people at all. The doctor was beyond nice, but this particular lady is so hateful that I wouldn't go back if you paid me.
