This is the worst place I have ever lived. The people that manage the apartment are just like the tenants. They are happy with a way of life that most of us balk at. The place is very old. The units have old counter tops that they just paint over to make look good. The place was dirty when we moved in. They didnt even remove the dirt from the doors before painting over them. That should be this places motto, dont worry, if you dont like it we will just paint over it. The maintenance guys are jerks. The apartment complex sent out flyers saying they were bringing economy to the units by way of A/C improvements. After a week of delays they finally showed up with NO notice and the only thing they did was put a piece of weather striping around the cover with the filter in it. Some economy, we saw no change in our electric bill. Do you self a favor and find anywhere else to live. In this town you can get a rent house for the same money. We paid $719 plus trash and water for a grand total of $800 per month. They split up the water among everyone in the unit. So if you dont use that much it wont matter. They say the faucets they use for maintenance are separate but I never believed them. On the months when they would clean carpets are bills were much more than normal. They also will charge you $25 dollars for having to pick up a piece of trash they can trace back to you. The cameras are not for security, they are so the gossip girls in the office can spy on you. Don't tell them anything unless you want everyone to know about it. We had to pay them over $700 for a pet deposit, $500 of which was non refundable. They kept all of it. Even though there was no sign of pets ever living there. When we moved out they kept almost five hundred dollars of our deposit because they said it was not clean enough. They robbed us, plain and simple. The two women that run the office are more like tyrants than landlords. This place is awful. Plain and simple. Dont move here, you will hate it. Sleepy Hollow SUCKS!!!!

renters beware!!! the management sounds good untill they lock you into a lease then if you complain about anything especialy the drug deaalers, of which the managers son who lives on proprty is one, or the perverts and thieves, management will start talking bad about you, spreading slanderous rumors and eventualy make up a reason to evict you and try to damage your credit, rental history and good name!
