You feel welcome when you walk in the front door. The service couldn't be any better. And to top it off the food is outstanding.

Every time I have driven past this place it has always been busy, so I finally decided to try it. That was a big mistake. As soon as you walk into the door it smells dirty, everything is coated in grease and dust, the table and chairs were sticky and the food was not very good. I can honestly say that we will never go there again.

I drive 35 miles to meet my Dad there. Great food and friendly staff. I always get more than enough to eat and enjoy it. The only draw back is that the building is small for such a great place

My wife's family and I are trying different Cleveland, Texas area restaurants on an ongoing monthly basis. So far we have visited four restaurants. Of the four most recently visited, we have only agreed to visit one of them, the Ranch Hand for more than one time. This was not because we found anything to complain about, but because we felt that for us to make an informed decision about the quality of both the food and the service, we would have to visit the Ranch Hand more than one time, and possibly even more!



The service at the Ranch Hand left absolutely nothing to be desired. The wait staff were very polite and attentive to our needs and desires. Our group is quite large and we had to wait about 5 minutes for the staff to make arrangements to accommodate our needs but that was not at all onerous.



As for the quality and amount of the food, it was truly amazing. The food itself was very well prepared and tasty, leaving absolutely nothing to be desired. The serving sizes were larger than were expected but not so large as to intimidate the diner.



All in all, the only way to categorize the Ranch Hand is to use the word that I used for the title...SUPERB!!
