Dr. Louis Stimmel, D.C. graduated from Fordham University (Bronx, NY) with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology in 1982 and from New York Chiropractic College (Old Westbury, NY) with a Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1990. Upon graduation, Dr. Stimmel completed an advanced post-graduation educational program in the sports field and became Board Certified as a Chiropractic Sports Physician in 1991 (C.C.S.P.). Dr. Stimmel also became Certified in Hospital Protocols & Privileges in 1992. Dr. Stimmel was initially licensed in both New Jersey and New York for many years and presently maintains only his New Jersey license. Dr. Stimmel has developed and operated multiple successful multi-discipline health care centers that specialized in treating patients injured from auto accidents, sports-related injuries, work-comp cases, geriatric and family care. He is experienced in working with pain management specialists, orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, physical therapists and acupuncturists. Dr. Stimmel has also conducted Independent Chiropractic Examinations & Peer Reviews for various insurance companies. Dr. Stimmel has been a member of the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors since 2004 and continues to regularly update his knowledge and expertise with post-graduate continuing education seminars, workshops and classes.
