Extremely high prices and an owner who doesn't know what customer service means. Not nice at all. Will never patronize his business again and would strongly advise anyone looking for shoe repair to go someplace else. I'll drive the extra miles next time.

Several years ago, when I went to pick up my repaired shoes from the Bootery, he would not accept my valid Entertainment Book coupon because he said it was a rule with EB that you had to present the coupon when first bringing in the item. I called EB, and they said this is not true and that he was obligated to accept my coupon but he would not .

Coupled with the fact that he is crabby and unfriendly, I never went back there again, even though there isn't another shoe repair as conveniently located for me. I'll just drive the extra miles.

I have been here several times because I did not know of any other shoe repair location in Saratoga. The owner has the personality and customer service skills of a rock. FYI- even though there is no sign posted to the fact, he has a $15 minimum purchase for credit cards which IS illegal. The legal minimum (as set by the Finance Bill passing) is $10 or less and does not apply to Debit Card purchases as per the Consumer Protection Act of 2010. He refused to sell me an $8 item with my debit card and told me (a pregnant woman who drove from Saratoga to Clifton Park to get this) to find an ATM or "too bad." I'll never go back & am reporting him to MasterCard today.
