The Gowana Middle School was founded in 1953 and is located in Clifton Park, N.Y. It is a part of the Shenendehowa Central Schools. The school offers classes in English, mathematics, science, social studies and physical education. It also offers unified art courses in arts, language arts, family and consumer science, foreign languages, music and technology. The sports activities offered include baseball, skating, football and basketball. The school also has various clubs, including the Gowana community, foreign language, seasonal crafts, jazz ensemble and the courtyard club. Its staff includes subject teachers, counselors, psychologists and nurses. The Gowana Middle School serves students in grades six through eight.
