Tennessee's Best Bed & Breakfast Clifton, TN has been given The Best Water Award 2013 as one of the Top 10 Small Towns in the South. This hidden gem of southwestern Tennessee would not exist without the Tennessee River. Clifton predates the Civil War. Settlers first arrived in the 1800's and began to build homes and operate businesses. The golden age of Clifton existed during the early 1900's, as the steamboat was king and Clifton was an important river port town. As America changed its modes of transportation and the river landing became less important, a gradual decline hit the area. In the 1990's Clifton saw a rebirth. As tourists visit Clifton, the natural beauty of the area awes them. Pillow Street Bed and Breakfast is a block from the river and a short distance from Main Street.

Absolutely amazing. If you want the feel of staying at grandma's house with all the privacy you want I highly suggest this place. Couldn't feel more at home if I was home. The history in this house is unbelievable. To many good things to say about this wonderful place to put it all in one review. A most see.
