My landlord hired Andy to replace a heating oil tank. He walked off the job without completing the work, requiring us to get a second contractor to complete the job.

Beware!, Beware!, Beware!...This unscrupulous handyman proved to be unprofessional, unreliable, and non-communicative. I may not be able to speak on his workmanship having never actually begun the work, but I can address his lack of commitment and poor sensibilities. Quotes were gathered in early Aug for our garage door project and by early September we had acquired all of the necessary components and were ready to proceed, but then taking another two weeks to make contact with Andy, we finally agreed for our job to be completed on the last Wednesday of the month. Our anticipation for a final outcome was short lived however, because five minutes prior to Andy's scheduled arrival, I received an email expressing just the opposite. He briefly explained his immediate need to leave the state to handle some family issues and would not be returning for about two weeks. I replied offering my sympathetic concern and family well wishes, and only requested he contact me when he returns to reschedule. Well, that last part never happened! Now the middle of October, a complete lack of communication on Andy's part; our patients had grown thin and in an effort to get the job completed, I'll admit I may have overstepped my next move. I located Andy's home down the road from his listed street address(new log-cabin construction) and for the first time since our initial meeting I actually made direct contact. While I remained sensitive to his ongoing family issues, in this instance I was more concerned with his ability to complete our project. After a brief discussion and what one might presume as a gentlemen's handshake, he agreed to contact me within the next few day to reschedule...well that also never happened. Thankfully no money had ever changed hands, but given his actions(or lack there-of), I can NOT in good conscience recommend Andy Piazza or his Handyman Service to any prospective clients.
