Provided by YP.comWell....I've found that GMart is by far cheaper than the local grocery stores in the area...regardless on who works there...Facts be told PG has the most well to do black folk in the nation.....I'm just wondering why Giant Foods left...and they had plenty black folk working in the store....my two cents

Provided by YPmobileIf you're looking for affordable fruits and veggies as well as meat and seafood this is the place to go! Shop along the border not in between the isles because the non-perishable items, especially the canned goods are pricey. I must say however, I disagree with very first review about the lack of black employees. Seeing as how this location is in "PG" County, I believe we have enough black people employed in our local community businesses without taking issue on this newly opened establishment. It's actually a relief to walk in for once and not see your typical "Ray-Ray" with greasy braids and sagging pants or "Boqueesha" and her multicolored weave, tattoos, and over-extended fake eyelashes. This is basically what represents this area and is a complete embarrassment to the black race. I hope when and if G-mart does employ those workers who represent our black race, they will have some accountability, self respect, and professionalism that is blatantly lacking in this area. As a black woman residing in this area I pray that our people will wake up and realize that when you're not hired in your own community maybe it's time to look in the mirror and make some changes.

Provided by YP.comI would say that the concept is nice and the selections on international foods are very good. The some of the workers don't speak Engligh well and asking them questions about the product is frustrating. The store is located in a black neighborhood and there are no black people working there. I asked on the 5th of May and again on the 6th. I was told on the 5th that they came in later and on the 6th that they were interviewing and they would have some by Friday 10 May. I do like shopping in the neighborhood where I live but I don't like shopping where I am not represented in some way.
