I take my mini dachshund's and also my cats to Dr. Mitchel. He he great with animals and understanding with humans and how much we care for our fur babies. I like a place that is good with pets and people both. We had to put one of our babies down a few years ago and the ladies there cried with us. They really care.

I am less than satisfied by the grooming my dog and my mother's dog received. My dog (a Border Collie) was trimmed way too short around the face and my Mother's dog (a Sheltie) the tail was not even touched. Their excuse was that the tail was too matted and couldn't be combed or trimmed. Hmmm......funny.....other groomers have always taken care of this problem. Now keep in mind.. my Mother is 82 years old. When I brought her dog home to her she was shocked! She herself took the time to comb the tail then took a razor comb and trimmed the tail herself. Needless to say, we will not be back or recommend this place to others.

I take our miniature schnauzer, Chewy to Clinton Animal Hospital to have him groomed. I have gone to other establishments here in town and though they do satisfactory jobs in grooming Chewy and in taking good care of him, yes it still doesn’t compare to the grooming Chewy receives here. Not only do I feel he looks magnificent, but everyone that sees our Chewy are in admiration in how he looks as well. The groomers there are true animal lovers and it shows in their talent of animal grooming. Also, they have an eye for details. I can’t express enough how appreciative I am to have found a place where I am confident in the care and treatment of our Chewy.
