Do you ever feel like being screwed? well, I did with this service station.
Took my car in, June 2018 odometer reading 82,551, to get the air condition system checked. Couple days later they called that the car was ready. Drove my wife to pick up car and she was told to bring car back in two weeks so that they could check if there was a leak in the system.

When she went back two weeks later she was told that they did not have to check the car since the air was working.


Now, here we are one year and less than 500 miles later, the air condition in the car does not work. Took the car back to the Garfield & Canal service station and left it there. Two days later, I get a call to let me know that the HIGH SIDE A/C LINE is leaking and this leak was detected with UV dye ( this was what they did a year prior) and to repair this it would cost $ 795.00.

I told them not to do the work and I would pick up the car. When we went to pick up the car, and tried to find out why the leak was not picked up the previous time.
After arguing that the work should have been done the first time we had the car there I asked for my keys and was given an $85.00 bill. when I pulled my credit card out of my wallet to pay, I was told that they did not accept credit cards even though they showed credit card images on their door.


Needless to say, this will be the last time they see my car for service.

I would honestly give zero stars if possible. Absolutely TERRIBLE experience. Had our car for almost two weeks and had still not done a thing. Everytime we call we get some excuse about what they’re doing now and never get an honest update. They tried giving the car back after a few days originally and claimed it fixed and said “its making a noise. Not sure if it’s a normal one or the same one you were hearing” and charged us the full amount. Didn’t even drive a a quarter mile down the road and we had to turn around and take it back. What kind of shop says something like that? As a shop, it’s your job to make the noises go away. Not hold the car for a few days, claim it’s fixed , charge someone and then give the car back without correcting the problem and then pretend like you have to look at it again.

In total they had our car for 2.5 weeks. And when we picked it up they charged us another couple hundred dollars. AND they lost the wheel lock key. How incompetent can one place be?! I’ve never dealt with such an awful shop. And now theyre telling us WE have to go tot he dealership to order the new key and provide an invoice. YOU lost it and we have to waste our time and gas to fix the mistake?! I don’t understand how this place is still in business.

They are terrible at following up with customers to let them know what’s going on with the car. If you call for a update, seeing as the don’t ever call you, they give you some run around or straight up tell you they’re too busy to answer. They make it seem like you’re inconveniencing them by calling.

This has been an absolutely awful experience and I would not recommend this shop to anyone ever. Absolute joke. Go somewhere reliable and that actually cares about the customer, won’t lose your parts, and will rectify their own error. Avoid at all costs.

The guy I spoke to on the phone was super nice. I explained to him my frusrated situation and he listened and was very compationate. Averge wait time is 45min-A hr but he actually came himself within 15min! I am very grateful for good plp like him. Thanks again!

he wouldn't let me.



experience was great. i'm going to need a tow again in a few weeks to get my vehicle back to where it was. i'm going to use these folks again! 5 stars all the way and if they are in your area, and you need a tow, i HIGHLY recommend them.



price wasn't bad either. 50 bucks to hook up and 4 bucks a mile.

They were very nice and explained everything about my car, he gave me a few options and price ranges on the repairs. They told me to bring in coupons to save money, and picked me up at work when my car was done.
