Great store owners very helpful

Staff was helpful and asked my preference in what color fish I wanted which was a good feature. The prices were a bit higher then expected, but the fish are worth it & I still have all my fish alive and well and even paired for a couple baby fish. Its $5-10 for small-medium fish, $15-20 for medium fish, & $25-45 and what not for full size fish. Awesome selection of salt and freshwater fish. Dont go to Walmart or Meijer or you will get diseased & over stressed fish most likely.

To start off, my parents had a 135 gallon tank a few years ago and they bought a puffer fish from here and it contaminated our whole tank with ICK and killed them all. They had thousands of dollars in tangs, lion fish, eals, etc. CLEARLY you dont test your water for diseases before you sell them.



I called today because I have a 5 gallon tank of fresh water fish. I got the tank a little over a month ago. I had it for a week and did a full tank clean on it (not knowing you were not suppst to do that) and my tank has been cloudy ever since and 3 of my fish have died. Ive tried alternatives and nothing worked so I called for some info. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very rude. She told me that I was NEVER suppost to fully clean my tank because of bacteria which i understand now. She told me to use a gravel cleaner and rudely insisted that I did not know what that was, And since my fish are tiny (guppies) i asked her if it was ok to transfer them out of the tank into a bowl so they didnt get sucked up into the tube because it has an extreme amount of pressure and she then she raised her voice in the phone and said "NOOOO. Your the one killing them. You are over stressing them. They are smart enough to stay away from the tube and you should be smart enough to know that and not put the tube that close to them." Little does she know anything i put in the tank they swarm because they are so interested. Clearly I said I am a new owner to this tank and I do not appreciate being talked to like I am a complete idiot and should already know this stuff because obviously thats why I was calling. I was clearly concerened for my fish because a few have died and the water was cloudy. If I can not call your facility for a few quick questions without being talked at rudely why would I return? Maybe she should be reminded that its not only the words you choose to say its the way you say it too!

this is a very nice store with very helpful employees. i called just to asked about my sick turtle and they gave me plenty of answers that may help. i was very pleased.
