New owner/bartender (as of Fall 2019) not friendly, welcoming, cordial to his patrons. Doesn’t welcome you upon arrival, doesn’t smile, not a conversationalist by any means, which is what is to be expected of someone in his position. No clue why he'd buy a bar, doesn't have the personality to support a business that relies on customers to want to return. Best thing he can do is either not work the place himself, or sell.
This used to be a great neighborhood tavern to visit at least once or twice a week. Now we only go once in a great while and only when we see the owner's gray pickup filled with junk not parked there.
Miss the old warmth! Still has limited menu, but not confident about kitchen cleanliness.
