I brought my 01 Jeep XJ to him after I went to countless other mechanics do to the fact I had a rear main seal leak and a head gasket leak no other shops were willing to take in the job but the moment I first talked to Kevin and told him what my problem was he didn't hesistate what's so ever he was more then willing to do the job and he did a fantastic job he's a hard working honest man and a damn good mechanic he's as honest as it gets he tells you what you need and doesn't screw around like most other shops would do to you and I can't recomend him enough to people

If you ever need your transmission fixed right or just need your car worked on Closter Transmissions is the best place to go. Kevin is very thorough with his work. I have been going to him for years and have never had a problem.

had a trans rebuilt by closter supplied 2 complete cores and gave Kevin 2 complete tranfer cases as well cause he was converting a 4wd trans to 2 wd, after a wk , and 1700.00 later and 4 trips down to kevin hes done nothing to fix the problem blames it on my engine ,it has to be florred to be almost floored to get the truck to move. he damaged my floor pan brace punched a hole in it mutilated my exhaust .lied to me about parts in the trans and stole parts from me i had to file charges with the attorney gen. office ,BBB, consumer protection agency , and federal trade commission the man is incompetent and might be the owner but certainly knows nothing about this bussiness and should'nt even be allowed to install transmissions
