The service was great. Best chicken fried steak I've had in years. My hubby had the catfish --also ver good. Food came out quick and hot.

Steaks were grilled perfectly. Great service and knowledgeable of dietary issues.

My husband and I went to dinner at Dakotas in Clovis on Friday night for a quiet dinner instead we had an awful time.First the waitress came over to our table jumping around like she was on drugs and we had to keep repeating our order to her several times. Next when she brought our drinks over to us, there were two soup spoons in one of the drinks. This led us to believe that maybe she just grabbed a dirty cup from the counter and filled it with tea?? Gross...next we had to ask her if she was going to bring our salad and rolls, she just laughed and said "oh ya" and walked away not even asking what kind of dressing we would like or anything. Next she brings us the salad bowl and bread with two, yes two dirty plates. At this point I was ready to just jump out of there but my husband was determined to give them the benefit of the doubt so I just sat quietly as he asked her for clean plates where she again laughed and ran to get two plates. After we moved to Clovis we tried out Dakota's. The service was marginal...like almost every other restaurant in Clovis. The food wasn't that great either. We actually went to Olive Garden in Amarillo and I ordered the same meal to compare the two. It's a shame that a chain ITALIAN restaurant has MUCH better steak than a "steak house"!

Dakota's Steakhouse is the best steakhouse in Clovis! If you are visiting, you must try it, and it is very affordable. Great food, amazing service, relaxing atmosphere; what else could you ask for?
