This place doesn't even deserve one star , it is the most dirtiest place that you could ever live at , I was put in a model apartment because they said my apt wasn't ready little did I know that the pics they should me of the apt that they have on the website was nothing compared to what they wanted me and my family to live in , as soon as we enter the apartment there were roaches falling all over us literally from the ceiling , there were tons and tons of roaches in every single inch of that apartment, they say there going to do something about it and all the pest control guy does is spray for 3 minutes and leaves !!!!! The only reason i agreed to live there was because my husband is a welder and paying hotels is expensive and my children needed to be in school ,I regret signing that lease the management is horrible and clueless , it's infested with roaches and they don't do a damn thing about it , the dishwasher was broken filled with mold, rust and smelled so bad , roaches were crawling all over our covers and on us at night I could not sleep at all in there , do not rent from this place !!!! It's better to pay more money were it's clean and safe then to rent those over priced disgusting apartments!!!!!!!!

Vanderbilt Apts are horrible and the management is worse! Mgmt will NOT spray the roach infested apts. They do NOT do maintanence/repairs. The tennis courts are a joke. It's more like the ruins of tennis courts! The pool hasn't been opened in 3 yrs. Mgmt will lie to your face! They do NOT honor their lease agreements! Some of the apt doors have broken locks, appliances in disrepair (dishwashers that don't work, stoves that don't have working burners, some stoves that are electrical nightmares because they spark and smoke but are not repaired or replaced. Cabinets that are rotted and falling down, peeling paint and the nightmares continue. The closets are extremely small, very little space. Most of the washers/dryers in the laundry rooms do not work. In three years we have had three different managers/management teams. Each one more disappointing than the previous one. They increase rent and decrease productivity yearly. If you choose to live here, keep the Houston Apt Assoc website, the number of an attorney close by and prepare to spend lots of time dealing with any issues that may arise.
