I USED TO LOVE THIS STORE, AND HAVE BOUGHT ALOT OF FURNITURE FROM HERE. I ALWAYS USE THEIR INSTORE CREDIT. I HAVE MADE MY PAYMENTS ON TIME EVERY TIME FOR ABOUT SEVEN YEARS,,,,ALWAYS BUYING SOMETHING NEW,AND PAYING IT OFF ON TIME. THE LAST COUPLE MONTHS HAVE BEEN FINANCIALLY HARD AND I HAVE MISSED A COUPLE PAYMENTS. I CALLED UP AFTER GETTING A NASTY LETTER TO MAKE A DOUBLE PAYMENT AND THE RECEPTIONIST NANCY WAS SO COCKY!!!! ITS ASHAME BECAUSE THEY HAVE JUST LOST A GOOD CUSTOMER. I DONT BLAME THEM FOR WANTING THEIR MONEY, BUT SHE COULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE MORE UNDERSTANDING.

Chertok is not worth the visit. The place is dubed as a family owned business. I wanted a twin bed for my son, so I stopped in to see what they had. I saw something I wanted. I sent my wife back to look at it & to negotiate a price. I was told a day earlier the list was $350.00. Th next day the list went to $499.00 with a sale price on $373.00. They would not budge off of that price. Even when I said that the sign in the window stated 25% off of all floor samples. I finally caved on the price because I wanted the bed....The next day their web-site stated 50% off all floor samples. They play games on price. Considering the location of this place and their unwillingness to negotiate on price, x this one off your list...Now for the kicker. When I complained about the dirtyness of the item on pick up, I was asked if I wanted a tissue by the senior sales women. WHAT A JOKE> CHERTOK YOU ARE NOT GOOD BUSINESS PEOPLE!!!!!
