Fast courteous service called they were there in 1/2 hour very professional and very knowledgeable if I ever have a problem again with my heat or propane delivery I will be sure to call

LOOK ELSEWHERE, people! We had a leaking propane tank and called Grantier to see if we could purchase a new tank from them. They agreed that we could purchase one from them, but that we would have the option to purchase our fuel from whoever had the best rate. When I called two days prior to the date the leaking tank was supposed to come out of the ground to confirm that we were still a go, I could not get a word in edgewise with one of the owners to let them know that I did not need a temporary tank to go in the ground until the permanent tank was prepared and ready to bury, and that Hurricane Sandy had affected our ability to be at the house on one of the dates in question. He kept repeating, "Don't be nervous, don't be nervous" dozens of times until I finally had to beg him to "PLEASE...Let me finish my sentence" so I could communicate that to him. Upon hanging up I realized I needed to talk with someone else to get my questions answered. I called his secretary and told her that I had a hard time communicating with the man I spoke with and could she please put me in touch with the other owner the following day. Well, the same man called me back this morning, the morning I needed the new tank, to tell me that he just "didn't get a good feeling about this and that he was not going to do business with me." He would not sell me a tank the morning my leaking tank was coming out. Clearly he was thrilled to attempt to leave me stranded at the last minute. This is not the kind of company anyone wants to do business with. Proper communication and decent customer service are not to be had.....

Worst customer service ever! T...

Worst customer service ever! They let me run out of oil in the dead of the winter. And all my bills were PAID and on TIME. Then a week later they let me run out of gas. Nasty people to deal with. I pulled my account and have had great service with Surburban Propane.

In 2010 when we needed a new f...

In 2010 when we needed a new furnace we selected Grantier because they were well priced and local. 15 months later when the unit decides to stop working inexplicably we called Grantier to come service it. Because we didn't purchase our oil through Grantier they refused to service our furnace, even though that was purchased through them. Refused service, left us with out heat and scrambling to find a service provider. Worst customer service we have ever encountered. Greedy men who could care less about the customer.
