I went to Timonium Auto Specialists for VEHICLE INSPECTION for a car that had a tinted window. The Maryland law permits up to 35% Visible Light Transmission percentage (VLT%). Below that is illegal. I was told that unless the car came with a tinted window from the manufacturer, irrespective of VLT, it should be removed to pass inspection. And the removal would cost $250. Nice business!

I took my car to them for a second opinion after I had gone to another local small business.

I didn't tell them who I had gone to, I just told them what I was told my car needed. When Lew

called me later that day, he advised that I didn't need any of what I was told. The only thing

he recommended was basic maintenance! I couldn't believe it! Now that's HONESTY! I highly

recommend this service center!
