I don't recommend Dr. Werner. He rushed me in a surgery misleading me and saying, " I will make a little cut, and I will give you a shoe to wear and you can walk." First of all, he didn't give me any shoe after surgery and I walked on my cut fasciitis with all the weight of my body starting with the fourth day after surgery. He didn't have any concern about my work life even though I have short term disability. Second, after he removed my stitches and I asked when I can walk normally, he told me that I have to wait six weeks because the recovery time is six weeks. I do believe that it was my right, as his patient, to be informed that the recovery time is very long. Two months after surgery I was still limping and having terrible pain. The MRI shows a very thick scar tissue, a chronic inflamed fasciitis and moderate fluid at my ankle. probably from limping so much. What did I obtained after the surgery: worst pain and a 1,100.00 bill. I am still in a shoe cast, which was recommended by another doctor because I refused to go back to Dr. Werner. I hope that I can walk again on my foot.
