Bruce and his mechanics are always there when we need them! Weather is as little as pupping air in my tires, to transmission issues, oil leaks, ect! Always satisfied

J&B also has 5 unsettled complaints with the local BBB because they are not a member. (Good thing. They would be asked to leave.)
Stay away. Current owner (Bruce) is just a mechanic who inherited the business when his partner died. He has NO experience in running a business. He doesn't know a thing about customer service. He makes excuses when he doesn't get the job done on time. He gave me 5 different completions dates. He does not return phone calls and wants you to text him. Then he doesn't return a text. He just sits in his little shed/office and plays on his phone. Above all - do not pay in advance.
Rating is 0000. I had to take J&B to court and received a judgment against him this week. In mediation he outright lied about sending me my warranty check. Then he tried to say I cashed it. I asked where the canceled check was and he was never able to produce it. (Because there was no check sent.) At mediation, he refused to answer me when again I asked for that "cashed" check. His response, "The check was made payable to me so I cashed it." He said let's go to court and he would get one of his attorneys involved. I was looking forward to it. Big surprise - no one showed for court.

0000 stars - I received a judgment against them because Bruce would not reimburse me for the warranty work from the trans comp as he was supposed to do after I paid him in advance for the work. He didn't even show for the court appearance.

i.e., A local favorite, or highly recommended becauseThis place is the worst transmission place around!! I have had my car there 5 total times. First time for rebuild 4 times after that for repairs!! Leaking seals. Not shifting properly and a complete failure the last time and needed to have it towed in. I wish I never took it there. I asked for my money back cause I needed to take it some where else that knew what they were doing. One of the failures they kept it 2 weeks!! They kept telling me tomorrow for the whole time it was there!! My life is miserable there and I don't have the money to take it to another shop to start over!! Their customer service and urgency are the worst in the business!!! You have been warned!

These guys are the auto repair specialists that everyone is looking for - stand up, honest and fair. They treated us like family and the work they did was top quality. Thank you for getting us back on the road again.
