Founded in 1957, The North Broward Preparatory Schools is a college preparatory school serving students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 in the Palm Beach and Broward counties of South Florida.The school operates chemistry, dive, creative writing, ecology, investment, mock trial and newspaper clubs. It has a residential boarding program that offers accommodations and residential houses for students, as well as organizes several alumni programs. The schools academic curriculum includes classes in English, mathematics, science, social science, physical education, computer science and foreign languages. In addition, it offers sessions for fine arts, including vocal and instrumental music, drama, theater and visual arts. The school s athletic program provides sports opportunities in football, tennis and swimming. The North Broward Preparatory Schools maintains a location in Coconut Creek, Fla., and serves more than 2,000 students.
