when I started our rental car, an Infiniti, the warning light came on about checking the tire pressure. I told my wife that Hrtz had already checked the car and a tire was probably down a few pounds (a common problem with new cars). I left the lot and stopped at a gas station and checked all 4 tires. The right rear was low so I added air and the warning light went off. I drove another 30 miles into Yellowstone and the warning light came on again. We got to our lodge, I called hertz, and they told me I have to drive out of the park to get repair service. I drove 48 miles to the east gate but no one ever showed. I put on the spare myself. I discovered a nail was in the tire. There is no doubt in my mind that the nail was in the tire before I left Hertz. The next day, I drove a total of 64 miles to get the tire repaired..I lost almost two days of vacation. I called the Cody office today and told them what happened. They are supposed to get back to me with some response. I'm waiting now.

They gave us a recalled car that had brakes that would go out and a steering wheel that would lock unexpectedly. When we told them they had two employes active and told us to wait three hours on the side of the road. They didn't stand behind their company.
