Had issues with my trolling motor. They fixed it up, and has been running fine since. My customer experience was grea! Would go back again.

Been taking my boat to Capital District Marina for years. Als great!! Great customer service and great quality of work. Highly recommended. Winterization and storage is a great price!! Def recommend.

I've been doing business with Al since he opened in 1986. My boats have been winterized at his shop every year since then and I have never had a problem. His mechanics have always been the best in my opinion. My first boat went 25 years before I traded it in on a newer/bigger/better. As far as I know, that first boat is still going 32 years later. The second boat I bought from Al has been great including winterizations and all other services. No business lasts 30 years by trying to cheat their customers! There's two sides to every story. I highly recommend Capital District Marina.

The worst, if zero was a star it would still be to high! Stay away at all cost, took boat in for tilt trim problem 2 day job, leaving for florida in 10 days Told Al that he said np, tilt trim ok but had another problem , 500. Later got call that work was done, and 8 days later got call that tilt trim not working, Haul to fl as.

This man pretends to be talking to customers on the phone while you're standing there as if he's busy when actually there's nobody on the phone at all!!!! Told me he put $20 worth of gas in my "empty tank" but when I pick the boat up there was less than a quarter tank of gas!!! And then tried to tell me maybe my gas gauge was wrong!!! STAY CLEAR

Be careful, it is all good until he might have to say he was wrong. Money and profit comes first with him, always.



He boasts about 30 years experience and until there is a problem and then makes you feel like its your fault and should have know that. He makes up stuff until you correct him. He even marks up the shipping on parts that he already makes over 20% on. He will give you a break as long as it does not cost him a penny.
