Mead Middle School enrolls more than 600 students and offers classes in grades seven and eight. The school s curriculum includes various subjects, such as language arts, math, science and technology, social studies, health education, English, computer science, arts and crafts, music and physical education. It also provides various special education programs for students with special needs. The school offers various extracurricular activities and sports programs for its students, including yearbook and homework clubs, cross-country, basketball, football, softball, volleyball and athletics. It has a fully equipped library and media center that offers various student research links and resources, and has a large collection of books. Located in Mead, Wash., the school operates under the guidelines set by the Mead School District.
