Timothy Bissonette is a physical therapist at the University of Vermont Medical Center and a teaching assistant at the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at UVM and NeuroRecover Training Institute. He treats patients with conditions such as concussions, movement disorders, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Muscular Dystrophy, vertigo, brain injury, spinal cord injury and stroke.He uses techniques such as LSVT BIG, which is a treatment designed to improve movement for patients with Parkinson’s disease.Tim believes that one of the most rewarding aspects of being a neurologic physical therapist is making a difference in his patient’s ability to return to their daily lives and functions.
