Structural Wood Preserving is one of the manufacturing plants in the Cox Industries family of companies that manufacture various kinds of treated wood products. Cox Industries began as Cox Wood Preserving in 1954, producing Wolmanized pressure-treated lumber for outdoor use. The plant is located in Coleridge, N.C., and is one of nearly 10 locations where Cox Industries manufactures residential products, such as patio furniture, outdoor furniture, wood decks, wood fencing, retaining walls, trellis, arbors, porch swings, gazebos, benches, gates, marine supplies, wooden garden furniture and adirondack chairs. Structural Wood Preserving makes Cox DuraPine brand of kiln dried after treatment wood and Wolmanized treated wood.
