Provided by YP.comI've never had any problem w/the geeksquad agents until now. First off, my husband & myself dropped both are laptops off for what I would call simple repairs (well not for the queeksquad that is). We were in the store about 1/2 hr when I had to ask the agent how long it would take (our thoughts before going was that it would be perfectly fine to leave the laptops & come back to pick them up later or the next day), the agent told us it would take up to at least 2 hrs, I told him we would pick it up today, My husband went by & his wasn't ready, I don't believe they even located it, but mine was, he brought mine back home. Before we left Best Buy last evening the agent ask me to fill out 2 separate forms for both laptops stating exactly what problems were on both, I did, & I didn't think about it until this morning before my husband went to pick them up that the agent didn't give me a copy of either ticket. When I called this evening to see if my husband's laptop was ready the phone rang about 20 times, I called two additional times w/no one answering. When my husband brought my laptop back to me earlier in the day the paperwork I filled out for my laptop accompanied the laptop. When I couldn't reach Best Buy by phone I looked on the computer which stated that you could find out the status through the service order, but wouldn't you know it, on my ticket it just has my handwriting on it, also the agents handwriting who gave my husband my laptop. If you look at the top of the ticket the agent was suppose to fill out that section which states; the agent's name whom I gave the laptop to, the date in which I brought the computer in for repairs, the estimated completion date, and above that the service order number. No one had filled out anything at all, so I have no service order # to see the status of my husbands computer, even though I don't have his paperwork, it's not on mine, it's probably not on his, but since the agent didn't give us anything I wouldn't have it anyway. And why aren't they answering the phone????
In closing, I will not be going to that location again & I'd advise anyone to go to another location. If in the area, go to Laurel, they are much more professional. The geeksquad agents are really good, I think the College Park, MD branch is a learning store perhaps with much to be desired. They don't even deserve one star, but the way it's set up you have to at least give it that.
