I have a love hate relationship with Gander. On one hand, they are usually $70-100 more expensive for the same firearms as the leading local business, and the Academy next door sells them for $50 or more. On the otherhand, they have fair prices on reloading supplies. I can't get primers and powder cheaper over the internet because the hazmat fee ($30) added to the order.



I remember my last firearm purchase was on a Sunday (when Gander was the only one in town open). I could have bought the gun much cheaper the following day elsewhere, but the service of the person behind the counter sold me. He was limping along in pain and in cast helping me out with a smile and professionalism. I ate that markup because it was worth it to me to reward dedication to service.



My only gripe about this individual store is that they overstock reloading powders for rifles and understock powders I can use in pistols. Please get more Alliant Unique and Power Pistol! Keep it in stock I'll buy it.
