Consumer affairs is investigating to see if there is a pattern of stealing consumers money and false representation of Premier Martial Arts, Consumer affairs said they will help me and other people resolve this problem with the owner aka Sensei Missy!? Because there is so many cases against her that shows a pattern, I am going to seek signatures because there is so many of us who have complaints against her!! And also I am notifying the Labor board because what she is doing is considered child labor. If you have a problem please contact my phone (618-855-8038) and ask for Tammy Nadeau Thank you!!

Provided by YPmobileSo many things are wrong, fishy and bad about this business.
My mother took my niece, nephew, and son to this "dojo" where she was conned into signing a contract on the basis that " certified professionals" would be teaching the children karate. However, I do not think that a #400 dude that can barely move let alone do the required moves and just dictated to the students (my niece, nephew and one other kid) and a 15 yr old and 13 yr old qualify as "professional instructors".
My mother paid, then Missy the owner claimed the check bounce (in which it did not) and STOLE additional money that were considered bounce fees from my mothers account. My mother provided proof from the bank that the check had sent through and she received her money, however Missy still argued with her on the refund. Classes were not going when scheduled and so after two weeks of messy, irriputable, slothful, and unprofessional mayhem and with only going three times, my mother put a halt to the theiveey and shananigans of the place. This place is a fraud. So, my mother asked for her refund.at which there were a lot of delaying, non answering of phone calls or return of messages. So my mother disputed the check at the bank. Missy then proceeded to let my mother know that if she signed a 30 day cancellation paper, she could then get her $218 back plus the $99 down payment. Well, that didn't happen either BC when the bank disputed and investigated Missy wrote all over the contract and crossed out " 30 day" and wrote "now". So my mother called her again and she said she was refusing to give back the money and if we put a negative review or post it to social media, then she would have her " corporate attorney" sue us for defamation. Lol. We informed her that it is freedom of speech and instead of running a joke of a dojo and stealing people's money, then she wouldn't have to worry about negative reviews. I posted this review to her fb pg and she deleted the review.
So, as it stands if you don't mind dumping your money into a fraudulent business ran by kids and a 400# "sensei", well by all means, dump away.
I absolutely detest this business and would highly recommend you to take your child elsewhere
